What Enchant smells like
Enchant is built around the magnetic-floral mood — slightly mysterious, romantic without being feminine, a complex composition that draws people in without announcing itself. For shavers who want their fragrance to be remembered rather than identified.
Mysterious. Alluring. Woody. Fragrance opening with the scent of cherries and saffron. Hedonistic tone from the start. Softer hints of leather and florals adding depth to the fruity nuances. Smoky wood with Cypriol complemented by Cinnamon, Cedar and Frankincense.
Tallow or Vegan — which to pick
Enchant is offered in two builds. They share the same fragrance compound (so the scent journey is identical) but the fat structure underneath is different.
Tallow - Siero ($29.99) is the original Siero formulation. The conditioning is denser; the lather has more body. If you’ve shaved with WhollyKaw Siero soaps before, this is the same direction.
Vegan ($22.99) swaps tallow for plant-derived fats (kokum, shea, cocoa, mango). Same fragrance compound, lighter lather body, brighter and cleaner under the razor.
Who Enchant is not for
Honest limitations:
- Fragrance-sensitive skin. Enchant has a real fragrance load. If our unscented Bare Naked Shaving Soap (Tallow build) or Sans Parfum Vegan Shaving Soap (Vegan build) is what your skin tolerates, this isn’t the soap to switch to.
- Strict dairy allergies. Tallow builds contain saponified dairy proteins. Most contact-dermatitis reactions to dairy are with raw milk, not saponified milk soap, but if you have severe sensitivities, test a sample before committing to a puck.
- Looking for a designer-fragrance clone. Enchant is its own composition, not an interpretation of a popular fragrance.
- Pucks-as-decor shavers. The puck is meant to be used. The fragrance is most expressive in the lather; sniffing the puck doesn’t do it justice.

Enchant Vegan…
Scent: This here is one of the rare cases where the manufacturer’s description comes quite close to my interpretation. Off the tub, I get cherry, some leather and smoke…lots of it. It is like the “peated” version of cherries…if you know…you know….😜 I love smoke in both my scents and my Scotch…😁 A very potent scent…👌🏻 The scent opens up quite a bit on lathering. New layers unfold. And that to me, is the hallmark of a well blended shave soap. The mystery of what a scent holds, is half the fun of lathering up for me and just adds to the whole experience in a big way. For me, after lathering, the smoke, makes way for an even juicier and jammy cherry with a prominent leather and smoky background. The florals are not lost and make their presence felt as well. I could just detect some cinnamon and maybe a hint of saffron in there. The cedar wood brings about an endearing warmth to the whole thing. Scents such as these instill an aura of mystery and luxury simply because some specific scent notes are more associated with the genre. I feel cherry and leather, when done right, are just that. I have a couple of EDPs that go just perfectly with this one. A lovely scent all around and just the way I imagined it to be. 👌🏻 Performance: This is the vegan base from Wholly Kaw. I have tried it before and loved it. Have tried the tallow of course and it was superb but I think their vegan is extra special. Although the last tallow I had tried from them was a few years back. Gotta try their latest version again. 🤔 I find this base to be super easy to lather and the one fact that makes it spectacular for me is that it is extremely easy on my skin and cleans up so well leaving no residue. Just awesome…👌🏻 I find their aftershaves second to none and just the way I like them. I love me some alcohol based aftershaves and feel no shave is complete without them. This one has just the right balance of bite and moisturising on the face. Leaves it feeling cared for and a super soft powdery sensation that I just love. One of the best aftershaves in the industry for sure. 👌🏻 Final Thoughts: A mouth watering scent, combined with a lovely base and top class aftershave to finish up. There are very few cherry based scents in wetshaving and this one is right at the top. A must try if you love cherry, want something unique or even otherwise. Highly recommended. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Tallow build is the original — beef tallow plus whole donkey milk on the Siero base, denser conditioning lather. Vegan build swaps tallow for plant-derived fats (kokum, shea, cocoa, mango), lighter lather body, same fragrance compound. Pick on dietary preference; both share the scent journey.
Do I need a brush, or can I lather with my hands?
Enchant is a hard puck designed for brush use. A synthetic or boar brush builds the best lather. Hand-lathering works in a pinch but won't get the dense, conditioning lather the soap is designed for.
Is Enchant a moisturizing shaving soap?
In the way most shavers use the word — yes. People search for "moisturizing shaving soap" looking for a soap that leaves skin feeling conditioned, hydrated, and protected. The technical term we use is "conditioning" because the soap is rinsed off, but the experience matches what people mean. Enchant on our Siero base delivers exactly that conditioned skin feel. For an actual leave-on moisturizer, pair with our grass-fed tallow zinc oxide cream.
Can I use Enchant in cold water?
Yes — Siero soaps lather well in cool water with a 30-45 second build. Hot water gives a slightly faster build but isn't necessary.

In our New Jersey workshop. Saponification, scenting, pressing, and packaging all happen in house. The fragrance compound is mixed by an American perfumer.
